DESCRIPTION OF MINISTRIES
SUNDAY CHURCH SCHOOL
Sunday School students come together to Study the Word of God (All ages) and for building on-mission Christians through open Bible study groups that engage people in evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and worship.
SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP
Church membership come together to celebrate in Prayer, Singing and Praise for what God has done and will do in the Body of Christ (Church Believers).
IN HIS PRESENCE MINISTRIES BIBLICAL STUDIES RESEARCH INSTITUTE
A comprehensive study (lesson plans) of the Word of God (Holy Scriptures), empowering the people of God (Bible Study attendees), to be spiritually and emotionally well.
CHRISTIAN MEN’S ALLIANCE (CMA)
The Christian Men's Alliance (CMA) is composed of sons, brothers, husbands, fathers, and grandfathers who love Christ and have a passion to become the man He wants us to be. We want to grow relationships with other men so we can help each other in our walk with Christ. Our men's ministry is dedicated to helping men to become Christ-like men.
CHRISTIAN WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP (CWF)
Fellowship meetings are designed to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of the women of the church and within our community. The CWF is envisioned to encourage women to grow in their faith in Christ, to develop and strengthen intimate friendships with other women, and to provide opportunities to serve and reach our community for Christ.
CHIDREN’S & YOUTH FELLOWSHIP (CYF)
The Youth come together to study the Word of God through scripture, song, dance & praise, bible games and trivia, encouraging group discussion & mingling, & hopefully a sincere love of God.
CRISIS INTERVENTION
To provide stability and consistent support for individuals & families. Provide guidance to appropriate organizations and services. When referring out, ensure individuals receive the name of a specific person rather than simply a telephone number. If needed, we may accompany the clients to appointments. As a support system, we are available by phone. Crisis intervention helps to improve social, interpersonal & environmental functioning.
PEER COUNSELING
To share experience and advice with people of the same age and education level. Peer counseling is often used in a school setting. Peer counseling helps to improve social, interpersonal and environmental functioning.
READING LITERACY & MATH TUTORING
READING: Ensure that elementary level children, middle school and high school students become successful readers by providing tutoring services.
MATH: Provide tutoring assistance in mathematics to children in pre-kindergarten through the ninth grade.
CHEMICAL & ALCOHOL DEPENDENCY COUNSELING
To provide stability and consistent support for individuals and families who suffer from drug and alcohol dependency, to break the cycle of addiction and recover their lives as well as to overcome the stigma associated with this disease. Chemical & alcohol dependency counseling helps to improve social, interpersonal & environmental functioning.
FAMILY, GROUP, MARRIAGE COUNSELING
To provide stability and consistent support for individuals and families. Couple, family group therapy; minor depression and marital relationship counseling. Family, group, and marriage counseling helps to improve social, interpersonal and environmental functioning.
DIVORCE CARE & SINGLE PARENTHOOD COUNSELING
To provide stability and consistent support for individuals and families going or struggling through a divorce and the impact on family dynamics and single parenthood. Divorce care & single parenthood counseling helps to improve social, interpersonal & environmental functioning.
SEVERE ILLNESS COUNSELING SERVICE
To provide stability and consistent support for individuals and families dealing with a family member or self who is suffering with a severe illness. Severe illness counseling helps to improve social, interpersonal & environmental functioning.
