There is now, always has been and always will be only One Living and True God. God is a Spirit, infinite in existence, Omnipresent, Omniscient, Omnipotent, Unchanging and Sovereign. God is Perfect, existing eternally in three Persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. All three Persons of this Trinity deserve equal Worship and Obedience.

Jesus Christ is the Second Person of the Godhead, having existed eternally with the Father. He is Deity, came to earth born of the virgin Mary, was Incarnated as a man, possessing all the nature of man and all the Nature of God. He lived a sinless and Perfect life, performed miracles, died an Atoning death on the Cross for the sins of all Believers by shedding His Blood, was raised bodily from the dead and ascended to the Father in Heaven to sit at the Right Hand of God until His physical return again to earth.

The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Godhead, having existed eternally with God. He is given by God to the world to convict and convince men of their sin. He is given by God to Christians to regenerate, sanctify, lead and teach the Believer in the truth of God’s word.

The Bible is God’s direct and final revelation to man. It is complete and infallible in the original languages, sufficient to obtain Salvation, authoritative in matters of Faith and conduct, complete, requiring no additional revelations claimed by means which God determined.  Translations are not inspired or equivalent to the original revelation, but represent the best knowledge translators may wish to apply in order to convey accurately the correct meaning of what was given originally by God. Those who claim that a specific translation is “inspired” or is the exact “preserved” God-breathed translation, perfect as to the original documents, are in error.

Man was created originally by God in His own image of personality and spiritual nature, but fell from that state and became estranged from God because of a willful and knowing violation of the precepts and commands of God. All men are born with a sinful nature and are unable, by their own efforts or presumed personal goodness, to be restored to a right standing before God. Men are brought to a right standing with God through the Sovereign action of God, by means of the work of the Holy Spirit, by which repentance of sins is accomplished, Faith is exercised in the person and work of Jesus Christ and Salvation is granted by the Grace of God. There is a bodily resurrection for all Christians in which they will receive an immortal and incorruptible body such as that of Jesus Christ.

There is a literal Heaven, the place of the Godhead and the Holy Angels, to which it is promised as an Eternal home to the redeemed Believers in Jesus Christ.  There is a literal hell, a place of literal and eternal punishment prepared by God for the Devil and his unholy angels, to which all who are unredeemed and reject Jesus Christ, by their own choice, will also be sent and live for eternity. There is no annihilation of the wicked.

Jesus Christ left two ordinances to be honored and remembered by the Church: the Lord’s Supper (Communion) and Baptism. The ordinances should be honored by all Believers as a Testimony to Jesus Christ.  The elements of the Lord’s Supper, the Bread and Wine, are symbols only and are not the literal body and blood of Jesus Christ. The imposition of “closed communion” (the restriction to participation in the Lord’s Supper to members of the local assembly of believers only) is unscriptural in nature and is in error.  The act of Baptism is symbolic in nature only and not necessary to obtain or maintain the state of Salvation. Baptism does not bring about Salvation or Regeneration and those who teach such are in error.

The Church is the Spiritual body of all true Believers in Jesus Christ who is the Head of the Church. There is no ordained human church on earth, but only local Assemblies of Believers who come under the Authority of Jesus Christ and may call themselves a Church. There is no single organization or “church” that is humanly constituted or ordained by God to which one must belong in order to be a Christian, to be a member of the Church headed by Jesus Christ or which can claim to be the true and only Church.

“We believe that the term "marriage", has only one meaning and that is marriage sanctioned by God which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture.

Christian Believers must submit to the Authority of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Scripture through the Words of God, the Words of Jesus Christ and the Words of the Apostles. Believers are also to submit to the authority of the qualified leadership in the local assembly whether those leaders be Pastors, Elders, Deacons or Teachers.
